Our Journey
Since our humble beginnings, Centenary Vet Hospital has always had a clear and unwavering mission: to care deeply for pets, support their human families, and value the professionals dedicated to their treatment. This commitment has driven our growth from a small veterinary surgery to a recognized Primary Care Small Animal Veterinary Hospital—pioneering excellence in Brisbane’s western suburbs.
Our journey has seen us relocate four times since 1999, each move aimed at enhancing our facilities, expanding our services, and creating a better working environment for our staff. We are immensely proud of our achievements, but even more so of the advanced care we can now offer to our patients, the support we provide to our clients, and the thriving work environment we cultivate for our staff.

Caring for our Pets
At the heart of everything we do is our commitment to the well-being of pets. Our goal is not only to provide top-tier medical care but to deliver it with genuine compassion and empathy. We believe that the best care comes from a partnership between us and pet owners, working together to give pets the most comfortable, healthy life possible.
To ensure we stay at the forefront of veterinary medicine, we invest nearly $20,000 annually in training. This enables our veterinarians to perform highly specialized procedures, such as Advanced Orthopaedics, Abdominal and Cardiac Ultrasounds, Endoscopies, Advanced Oral Surgeries, and comprehensive Dental Care. We are equipped to manage long-term medical conditions, from cardiac and renal diseases to endocrine disorders like Cushing’s and Addison’s Disease, ensuring continuity of care throughout a pet’s life.
